Hi,

I've got trouble creating a Blitz Map:
-How to set a Team's "Headquarter" or Spawnpoint?

Hi,

So actually you have to do the following:

1) Place the Radio entity in your level (Entities/CrysisEX)

2) Create SpawnGroups for each team and link the SpawnPoints to these groups. Do not forget to make a shape around the spawn points otherwise people can´t buy. :) It is mainly the same way as in Power Struggle.

Is that enough or do you need more in detailed information? :)

Hey, thanks for the fast answer, c4Te.

-How to use the RadioEnt? I placed three, but only one shows up(and the icon at the map says "You should't see this". Secondly, I can't do anything when i stand in front of them.
-How to create spawngroups for each team? Are the team names "tan" and "black" ?

Thanks in advance

yes the team names are "tan" and "black" like in Powerstruggel.

each RadioEnt has a GroupID attribute
ingame only 1 radio from each group is visible(changes each round randomly)

- Take a "SpawnPoint" entity (can be found in the "Entity" category in the editor in the "Others" folder)
- Place several of them in one of your bases
- Get a "SpawnGroup" entity (can be found in the "Entity" category in the editor in the "Multiplayer" folder)
- Create a "Shape" around the "SpawnPoint" entities (can be found in the "Areas" category in the editor)
- Now link the "SpawnGroup" entity to the "Shape"
- Select the "SpawnGroup" entity
- Scroll down in the entity to the EntityLinks section. Now add all the "SpawnPoint" entities of one base to this section.
- Once done select each link in the "SpawnGroup" EntityLinks section. Click on the name twice so you can change the name of it.
- Change the name from "NewLink" (or whatever) to spawnpoint
- Once done change the settings in the "SpawnGroup" entity like here: http://wiki.crymod.com/index.php/Sandbo ... pawn_Group
Please remember that the SpawnGroup is a default one and should not be capturable. Also the AreaID of the Shape must match the buyAreaID of the "SpawnGroup" entity.

Once done do the same for the other base.

For the radios please notice that they do not work in the Editor, just in the game after restart.

Also if you want to have different spots use different GroupIDs.

Cheers,

Sven
